Le reproche fait à Israël depuis Abraham jusqu'à nos jours n'est pas de rentrer chez soi, mais d'oser le faire. La juridiction israélienne protège les Arabes parfois plus que les citoyens juifs — un légalisme excessif pour protéger l'étranger. Le cours relie l'affirmation de Joseph 'c'est la terre des Hébreux' au dialogue entre Moïse et Pharaon (Exode 5), où Pharaon refuse de reconnaître le Dieu d'Israël.
