Messiah

Discussion on different approaches to the Messiah among Jewish groups. Every tzaddik has an aspect of Messiah, not only Joseph and Judah — every community, yeshiva, and family has its messianic dimension. The Hasidim identify the Messiah with the Tzaddik, while the Mitnagdim await the Messiah as a divine initiative from above.
