Discussion on the relationship between Torah study and Hesed (kindness). A Torah without the level of Hesed is not complete Torah. Anecdote from a youth movement symposium in Brussels where secular and religious camps debated. The Gemara teaches that Torah preceded the world by 2000 years, meaning the Torah of wisdom preceded creation. Reflection on the duty to write and transmit these teachings.
