Le Rav explique les trois options du judaisme au temps du 2e Temple : Pharisiens (tout juif a la maniere de Kohen), Sadduceens (juif du samedi, goye la semaine), Esseniens (option de pauvrete — yeshivot en marge). La Kedoucha positive (naturelle) est plus profonde que la Kedoucha negative (anti-naturelle). En exil, on etait condamne a la saintete contre la nature (ghetto). En Eretz Israel, coincidence possible entre saintete et nature. Le drame des Haredim en Israel : ils maintiennent loption anti-naturelle de lexil alors que la nature environnante est Israel meme.
