Rav Kook and the mutation of Jewish identity in our time

Rav Kook

Manitou introduces the teaching of Rav Kook as a pivotal moment in renewing Torah formulation from an Israeli and Zionist perspective. He notes a taboo on Rav Kook's teaching in Haredi circles, where everything continues as if nothing happened in Jewish history. Rav Kalischer (Ashkenazi) and Rav Alkalay (Sephardi) were precursors announcing this identity mutation. The State of Israel represents a massive shift that Rav Kook predicted.
